If you do not accept these Terms, please do not apply to join our program as a volunteer or nonprofit.
1. General Agreement
To apply to join our program, you agree to the following Terms:
Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to apply to our program as a volunteer. Minors under age 18 agree to receive parental approval before submitting information on our website. You must be 18 years old to apply on behalf of a nonprofit organization.
Nonprofit Eligibility: By applying to join our program as a nonprofit organization, you certify that you are an authorized representative of an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you are not an authorized representative of the organization, you may not apply on behalf of said organization.
Volunteer Eligibility: Volunteer may not be an employee of the matched nonprofit organization. Volunteer may not presume future employment.
2. Submitted Information
Project: Website requires that all submitted information be accurate. Failure to abide with this guideline may result in termination of your ability to use our website and program, at our discretion. All information submitted through our website is processed by third party providers. We take your privacy seriously and take all precautions to safeguard your information from unauthorized access. By submitting information through our website, you also agree to our third-party provider’s Terms of Service and privacy policy. 3. Guarantees
Project: Website provides no guarantees to the any parties, nonprofit or volunteer. By joining our program as a nonprofit organization, we will make efforts to provide nonprofit a website through a volunteer. However, we provide no guarantees regarding the quality of the website, the timeframe in which the website is delivered, or its impact on your organization whatsoever. We are not liable for any losses, damage, or repercussions that may result.
4. Usage and Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individuals and organizations from joining our program. Project: Website makes no guarantees in your ability to use our website or participate in the program. Project: Website holds the final determination in your participation in our program and makes no guarantees, regardless of your eligibility.
We reserve the right to terminate your participation in our program and/or your access to our website at any time, for any reason, with or without prior warning. Actions that may result in termination include but are not limited to: abuse, harassment, making threats, misrepresentation of credentials, making harmful claims, or otherwise violating the Terms of Service. Just use common sense.
5. Ownership of Work
All work created by the volunteer is deemed as “work for hire,” as defined by US Copyright Law. Volunteer have 5 days to notify the organization upon matching with a nonprofit organization if volunteers are unwilling or unable to provide the service.
6. Third Parties
We may post third party links on our website or use third party services on our website. By using our website, you agree to their respective Terms and Privacy Policy agreements. We work to ensure that all third party links and services on our site are safe, but we do not endorse, represent, or control their websites.
7. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Project: Website, its fiscal sponsor and associated individuals, including officers, directors, affiliates and agents, volunteers, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Site or Service, your violation of any term of these Terms of Service, any claim that your actions or actions using your account harmed a third party. You agree to indemnify us for your use of our website for any claims that your actions harmed a third party.
8. Non-waiver of Rights
A waiver by either party of any term or condition of these Terms of Service or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof.
9. Governing Law
