Project: Website is run by an internal team of college students, backed by an advisory board of industry leaders, and supported by hundreds of volunteer professionals from around the world. The programs provided by Project: Website are indeed legitimate, and we’ll continue on our mission to provide free websites for nonprofit organizations.

Upon acceptance to our program, we will invite both the volunteer(s) and the nonprofit’s representative to our Slack channel, where the two parties can communicate. A Project: Website representative is available to answer questions that may arise within the channel.
Upon completion, the rights and copyright for all work created through our program is transferred to the nonprofit organization.
Each website is built on a content management system (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, etc) that allows the nonprofit to log in and edit the site contents. The process varies based on what platform the volunteer uses. Regardless of platform, the nonprofit can update the site contents after completion!
Since each nonprofit organization works with a different volunteer, we can’t provide you with an entire portfolio, since each volunteer has their own. However, rest assured you will be assigned a highly-skilled volunteer web developer who is experienced in both design and implementation.
