Overview

As nonprofits begin to halt operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Project: Website is here to bring them online. Our program leverages a network of volunteer developers to provide connects 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with free websites! We're making some adjustments to our virtual program to help as many nonprofits as possible.

Why Does This Matter?

While many for-profit companies have the resources to stay afloat, nonprofits can be overlooked. Many nonprofits lack the technical expertise to build out and maintain a modern website, so their ability to sustain their mission-driven programs is severely impacted.

While this pandemic may shift our priorities in the short-term, the issues that existed in society will not simply disappear. Nonprofits play a critical role in our communities, so we hope to get them up-to-speed and help them weather the storm to return to their original form once the crisis passes.

Help Wanted!

We have already seen a significant increase in nonprofit applications and inquiries, and we only expect this number to rise. If you are a software engineer, web developer, designer, writer, or project manager, we need your help!

Because of this, we have moved up the launch of our next cohort to April to cater to more nonprofits. Depending on demand, we may make additional changes, including rolling start dates for our next few cohorts.

If you have experience designing or designing websites, we encourage you to volunteer now!
